In 2022, David Thompson founded Heritage Asset Management. He created the firm after nearly two decades in the industry to give our advisors the ability to be independent and put the needs and goals of the client first. We are primarily a referral based firm. We do not operate with account minimums or mandates. We do not turn away clients based their age, occupation, or account size. We feel that the quality of the client relationship is more important than the size of an account. We do not advertise and we do not have a call center. Our firm is smaller, but our relationships tend to be very strong since most new clients are referred to us. As a client of our firm, you will notice right away how much time we spend with you. Our meetings can be long and we tend to linger. We do not rush anyone out the door. You will have access to your advisor in ways that seem old fashioned compared to the modern era of waiting rooms and 15 minute appointments. This is intentional. We enjoy this and hope you appreciate it too.
Our mission at Heritage is to educate. We have found that the biggest hurdle for most clients is that they do not know what they do not know. Additionally, many clients have a good grasp of money issues, but lack the confidence to be sure they are doing the right things. Money and investing issues affect most every adult in the country, but very few people are confident when it comes to money and investing because they just don't know. Our goal for you is to help you understand how things work. This includes money, investing, interest, taxes, and the list goes on. The more you know, the less things scare and frustrate you. The more we know about you and your situation, the better advisor we will be. This type of relationship takes time and is ongoing. Investing is long term and so is our relationship with each client of the firm.
Our goal is to provide exceptional investment and financial advice to every client where they are. Some clients are working and saving money. Others may be retired and drawing money every month. You may have a child in college or a parent living with you. All of these situations are complex and specific to the individual or family. We do not give cookie cutter advice. We can invest in a manner that seeks aggressive returns, or we can be very conservative. It is not our job to put every client in the same strategy. We have many solutions to help you to be successful in whatever stage of life you are in, even as the stages of life change.
